Cookie Policy

How TechRig.ie uses browser storage, optional analytics and your consent choices.

1. Storage in plain English

TechRig.ie uses browser storage to keep the site working and remember your preferences. Optional analytics runs only when it is configured and you consent.

Browser storage is how a website keeps small pieces of information on your own device between visits. Some of what TechRig.ie keeps is held as cookies and some as other browser storage, so this policy describes what each item is for rather than treating every item as a cookie.

Each row in the next section names the purpose, says where the item lives, and states whether the item is required, functional or optional.

2. Storage we use

The table lists what TechRig.ie keeps on your device, together with the one optional category that runs only with your consent.

3. Optional analytics

Analytics is optional. It is not needed to browse, buy or sell on TechRig.ie.

Analytics runs only where an identifier for that service is configured for the deployment. Where no identifier is configured, no analytics code is loaded at all.

Where it is configured, it loads only after you permit analytics. Rejecting or withdrawing that permission disables analytics again through the same mechanism.

Where analytics does run, the provider receives usage information about the pages and features you visit, and the configuration asks the provider to anonymise IP addresses. That request does not make analytics anonymous in general. Our Privacy Policy lists the providers involved and explains how personal data is handled.

5. Contact

Questions about cookies or your personal data? Email admin@techrig.ie. You can also contact the Irish Data Protection Commission, the Irish supervisory authority for data protection. You do not need to contact TechRig.ie first.

This policy works together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
